The bands
By your count of active paying schools that month: the first 5 at 10%, schools 6 to 15 at 15%, school 16 and above at 20%. It is marginal, like income tax: reaching sixteen schools does not put all sixteen at 20% — only the sixteenth and beyond — and the bands combine into one effective rate for the month. Ten schools, for instance, works out at 12.5%.
Why it is banded this way
Each school you add is worth a little more than the last, and losing a school never cuts the rate on the ones you keep — there is no cliff.
The basis
The amount the school actually pays Appsotech Limited that term, after tax and any discount. Some products bill per student, some per school — your percentage is the same either way.
When it accrues
When Appsotech Limited has collected the payment. Not when a school promises to pay, not when an invoice is raised.
When it stops
When you are no longer the school's active account manager in good standing — you stepped away, you went inactive, or the account was reassigned after upheld complaints. The agent it is reassigned to earns from then on.
Team override
A team lead earns 3% of the direct commission each agent in their team earns, paid on top, not deducted.
Payment
Monthly, by the tenth working day of the following month, in your local currency, by bank transfer or mobile money. Below the minimum payout, the balance rolls into next month.
Reversals
If Appsotech Limited refunds a payment or a school charges it back, the commission on it reverses and is deducted from your next statement. A school that cancels and is refunded within 60 days reverses that term's commission.
